Does anyone see the series Lost here?

Posted on April 17th, 2010 by admin

If you see lost the finally of the season 2, they show that all the observation don’t by the participants was trashed in the forest which was sent the Pneumatic tool.

Do you think they are doing this experiment for nothing, than what may be the aim of the experiment done by the scientist? I really was amazed to see all those observation record wrote so promptly by the participants were simply trash and why have they have wasted their efforts.

Assuming that you’re talking about the journals going through that tube to the middle of nowhere, this is definitely intentional. As for what it means, it probably signifies that the whole "experiment" is useless and has no real significance. Basically, the participants are lab rats for some other, much bigger experiment. (well thats my take on it)

Blue Pneumatic BP-53v Big Blue Jr./Mandrel collection system rivet tool.

Posted on April 14th, 2010 by admin

This is like our heavy duty riveter, Big Blue, but without the steroids. Big Blue Junior has the power of the large “heavy duty” riveters in the body of a small one. This tool simply has more pulling force than other rivet tools in its weight class. This is our “full range riveter”. This tool sets 3/32, 1/8, 5/32 and 3/16 rivets in all materials. Big blue Jr. is ideal for multi-grip rivets and pulls 3/16 Monobolt/Magna-lok structural rivets. This tool provides an economical light-weight solution to placing a wide range of rivets.

what the difference between CFM AND SCFM?

Posted on April 3rd, 2010 by admin

I am trying to buy a new air compressor and i want to make sure that i am getting one powerful enough to run my pneumatic tools all of them list their air consumption at 5 to 8 CFM @ 90 PSI. the air compressor that i am interested in list it’s air delivery at 11.7 SCFM @ 90 PSI. My local home depot associates were no help at all. so can somebody plain explain this to me.

The S stands for "standard". If you are in an environment where condition of temperature, pressure and humidity vary a lot from the average, then the "actual" may differ. The "standard" rating takes those variation into account.
For all practical purposes, you can consider that CFM is the same as SCFM.

CFM is cubic feet per minute of air flow. SCFM is standard cubic feet per minute air flow. http://www.gaeicc.com/conversion_factors.htm
