not worth the cost
the system and tracking beacons will cost more than the tools
and they will be obvious
the perp will just remove them and you will be out of luck

someone will just steal the gps systems! A padlock is more effective and cheaper. I suppose you could hide a lo jack,(made for cars), in the bottom of a large toolbox. Then you have monthly fees for monitoring.

Just engrave your name, or DL# on them.
Then spray paint them with florecent pink, or orange pait to make the noticeable.
They might be ugly, but people would be less likely to steal them, because they know they won’t be easy to sell.

At first glance I thought you wanted to know how to locate your tools after they dissapear in the house,garage ect.Thats where I have my problem,as for stolen items I have found keeping the doors and truck locked works the best also insurance in the event they would ever be stolen
