Epoxy dried is very hard and would transmit sound very well.

its called pore …
its called pore filling, the only epoxy on the guitar is in the tiny pores, if the pores were unfilled, the finish would have craters in it. doesnt damp the as any excess is sanded off. however, using epoxy is an unconventional way of doing it if a french polish is going to be used. look at this vid for more info about the epoxy

Is epoxy commonly used as a primer/ void filler in fine classical guitars? Doesn’t it deaden the sound a bit? Just asking, I don’t know.
