Is there any method of cutting metal with out some sort of power tool?

I have a 6ft long box shaped (sorry not really into this sort of stuff) and i need to cut it so i can make a skate-able rail. Problem is i dont have any power tools or Oxy-Aceylene torch so i’m kind of screw. Its not a nessicity i just want one. Any ideas?
any saw will do you just have to make sure to get the right blade- and depending on how thick the metal is and what kind a small saw might now do it because the motor doesnt have enough power to cut the metal- and like i said you have to have the right blade just go to home depot and tell them the type of metal you are cutting and the thinkness and they will tell you what type of blade you need

You can use a Hack saw, make sure you buy good blades, the cheap ones are just that "cheap" they will cut a few inches and then they are done. Ask for some good long lasting blades, they are well worth it.

6 ft long? And is it thick enough to skate on? That is a long cut to make. Your best bet is to go to a rental place and rent a grinder and buy some cut off discs. They are about 5 dollars and can rent saw for probably 12 dollars. Or may be able to rent by the hour if you can hurry and get it back.

Other than a hacksaw I cant think of any other hand tool that will cut metal. You will need good blades, not to mention allot of elbow grease as well as a steady hand. Anyone that has ever used a hacksaw knows its hard to cut a strait line with it but hopefully you will get it close enough to work for you. Hope this helps.
Oh one other thing. I remember a long time ago they used to have a blade that would fit into a coping saw or something that looked allot like a coping saw that had teeth on every side of the blade and that stuff would cut through anything. for whatever reason I don’t see that advertised anymore. It was the best thing sense sliced bread if you ask me, that’s probably the reason they took it off the market because it replaced several cutting tools. Stanley or some other tool company probably purchased the rights to it and then stop producing it so they could sell more of their tools instead.
