    I would tend to agree on that. I have not been that impressed with Dewalt. Of all the tool companies, I’ve found Porter Cable tough as nails but fairly featureless as compared to others. I’ve tried Makita, Bosch, etc and have a variety and it really does depend on the tool you want.

    I must confess that I’ve used a keyed chuck and a keyless and I have yet to have a keyed chuck slip. I cannot say the same for keyless chucks. I find they slip depending on the operation and it is very annoying. I have two drills with keyed chucks and yes it’s a pain but I never have a slip of the bit.

    Most people in trade will tell you most brand names have some great tools and some dogs.I would’nt buy a tool by brand name only,I talk to my associates about specific tool i am looking for and ask how they like theirs.Sorry if this was’nt much help—Bob
