Can this power tools be used for small home building work .

Which tools are you interested in? Sometimes you can buy a new tool, use it to finish a project, then sell it in "near new" condition in an online auction site. You can also buy tools the same way and save a lot of money.

There are a lot of power tools available. Maybe, you need first to identify which one would you prefer. But for most basic home building/repair work, a powerdrill is a necessity. It can help you a lot particularly in drilling and screwingjobs. For cutting purposes, i would suggest you buy a jigsaw.

You really need to phrase your question a little better. I am not a mind reader, but I think you want to know which power tools would be good for around the house purposes.I like my Makita Cordless Drill Driver. For most homeowners I would suggest getting a 3/8 reversible with a keyless chuck. If you get a cordless, be sure to get an extra battery so you will always have a charged one ready when you need it. If your into doing heavier work, then you should go with a 1/2" chuck. Then you can use the larger drill bits that are available. You should also get some Bar Clamps. At least a couple of them,as you undoubtedly will need to secure your project in place. I also have a vise. I would also suggest a Circular Saw. I have very tiny bones, so my hands are very small. A 7 1/4 " Cir. Saw is way to heavy for my hands, so I use a Makita Cordless 31/2 " saw. It’s small, but mighty. Another saw I love is my Chop Saw, Or Compound Miter Saw. As for Jigsaws, I wouldn’t recommend them to a customer, but I wouldn’t steer them away from them either. I just don’t happen to like them. But you might, and one might come in handy. Byee

I believe any home owner/renter should have the basic power tools personally..skill saw, power drill and maybe a jigsaw…I recomend that you actually buy power tools that are plug in and not cordless..cordless tools are great but they seem to weaken after sitting or go dead unless you invest in very expensive ones that are meant to use daily by professionals…Seems if you dont use them all the time and keep a charge on them constantly, when you do go to use them they have drained the battery by sitting so long…You cannot keep a battery in the charger constantly, for this is as bad for them as it is good..I own both cordless and corded for I do quite a bit around the house..but I have the same scenario..I go for the cordless and it doesn’t have the power to do what I need so I have time waiting for it to recharge…Simple..when this happens I switch to my corded one..
