How To Remove Wheel Locks Without a Key
Posted on March 10th, 2010 by admin
As I state in the video DONOT use this information for illegal purposes, it is intended to HELP you if you happen to loose your wheel lock key. As with most things that I do with cars this didn’t go exactly as planned, in fact there is a significant amount of time between me getting the socket hammered onto the wheel lock and when it actually broke loose, I took a break to work on other things. I also said in the video that they make a special socket for removing wheel locks that makes this a lot easier, do a search for this and you will probably find a set of them. If you can’t find one of these sockets then this might be an option for you to try. The best thing is to try not to loose the lock key in the first place but I realize that this may not always be possible so I made this video for you.

3M was originally known as the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. In 1902 their plan was to mine minerals to sell to manufacturers for producing grinding wheels. Like most great companies 3M has evolved and found success by being versatile. Some of 3M’s innovations include water proof sandpaper, masking tape and clear cellaphane tape. Auto mechanics use many of the products 3M has to offer like 3M weather strip adhesive, 3M scotch masking tape, roloc gasket removal discs for air tools (what a time saver), cut-off wheels, grinding wheels, fuel injection cleaner, not to forget sand paper and sanding discs. http://www.denlorstools.com/home/dt1/multilist_69/3m_automotive_products.html
