Although General Motors is a struggling company now and Disney is thriving, ’twas not always so. Once, Disney was the hardscrabble organization and GM was sitting on top of the world. That was the dynamic that existed when the car company commissioned the Mouse House to produce an instructional cartoon that would show people how to use hand tools safely.
