Depends on what your making, more tools the better… more intricate things can be built with more tools

Depends what you want to do…there are about a thousand different tools for a million different jobs.
I am guessing you are doing fine woodworking so you need a saw, glue, drill, drill bits, or drill press, pipe vices, planers, chisels, rotor saws, etc…
